Extensive research and development has eliminated common complaints associated with other designs resulting in the fastest gear changes ever available with the OEM casting. The unique splitting of the third and reverse feed circuits to the direct clutch with a secondary spring loaded spool valve in the valve body is an industry first. This valve body also eliminates the long stock third gear circuit and incorporates its own that requires less than 2 cubic inches of oil between the manual valve and the new direct clutch apply passage in the case.
