Factory reaction tubes are prone to twisting when subjected to torque loads in excess of 350 foot pounds. This updated reaction tube is specially heat treated to eliminate twisting. It is also outfitted with a roller bearing that replaces the factory installed metal thrust washer. This bearing reduces internal friction and horsepower loss created and consumed during normal internal component rotation. Its enlarged lube passage improves rear gear set oiling and its black oxide finish reduces rear sun gear bushing wear.
