Its unique design makes it more efficient in the lower rpm ranges when cruising making it a true high performance street converter .Although this is a lock up converter it is not reccomended to lock it at wide open throttle with engines over 450 foot pounds of torque.It is custom built for each application to any stall speed between 2800 and 3800 rpms. The converter is assembled with a heavy duty lock up clutch, oversize needle bearings, furnace brazed fins and a hardened hub and will handle up to 500 foot pounds of torque.
