CK Performance "Street/Strip Series" torque converters are for competition applications with engines producing up to 650 horsepower/650 foot pounds of torque. Each converter is custom built to provide maximum performance for its intended application. All “Street/Strip Series” converters come standard with front and rear anti-ballooning plates, furnished brazed fins, oversized Torrington bearings, and a 4130 heat treated drive hub. COMP SERIES TORQUE CONVERTERS CK Performance “Comp Series” torque converters are for pro-street and competition applications with engines producing up to 1000 horsepower/1000 foot pounds of torque. Each converter is custom built to provide maximum performance for its intended application. All “Comp Series” converters come standard with either front and rear anti-ballooning plates or a steel billet front cover, furnished brazed fins, 4340 billet turbine spline, oversized Torrington bearings and a 4130 heat treated drive hub. CK Performance “Pro Series” torque converters are for all out drag racing applications with engines producing up to 2000 horsepower/2000 foot pounds of torque. Each converter is custom built to provide maximum performance for its intended application. All “Pro Series” converters come standard with a steel stator. They are also available with the “spragless” or “mechanical diode” option if required. Our technical support service will help you select the proper converter.
