When using a TH350 transmission in a competition application,especially with a transmission brake,it is not uncommon for the input shaft or drum to split. By studying the structure of the the shaft and drum before and after failures it revealed the need to stress relieve the parts to reduce the chances of failures.Our shaft and drum assembly undergoes a special heat treating procedure that removes stress risers in the original materials as well as hardens them to produce a much tougher piece than factory originals.This part should be installed in all transmissions behind engines producing over 375 foot pounds of torque.

Oversize low roller clutch and matching lo support reduce lo roller clutch and outer race failures.Amust for heavy duty and transbrake applications that dont use the lo clutches in manual 1st gear.The factory metal thrust washer installed between the sun shell and lo roller clutch outer race lacks durability and thrust surface area. This precision ground outer race is outfitted with a roller bearing assembly that replaces the thrust washer. This bearing reduces internal friction and horsepower loss created and consumed during normal internal component rotation. It also increases the thrust surface area between rotating components and improves power transmission.
