The stamped steel OEM forward clutch piston suffers from deflection and a narrow work surface severely compromising forward clutch pack performance and durability. The cast aluminum OEM forward clutch piston is known to crack at the inside diameter resulting in immediate forward clutch failure. This fully CNC machined billet aluminum forward clutch piston distributes clamping force over the entire surface area of the clutch pack and will not crack under extreme pressures providing huge increases in forward clutch pack performance, torque capacity, and durability. Will retro-fit all models.
