TRANSMISSION WARRANTEE AND RETURN POLICIES

Before putting forth the warrantee and return policy information a few things should be noted.We pride ourselves on building a great product.If our company didnt have an excellent reputation for product performance,reliability,durability and customer service you probably wouldnt be considering making a purchase with us. Always remember that we are dealing with parts that are being stressed way beyond their original structural and mechanical design capabilities.Product misuse,abuse and malfunctions elsewhere in the vehicle can also put additional sress on the transmission inducing component failure.We perform extensive research and development on all of our automatic transmissions to provide our customers with the strongest products available.Mechanical parts occasionally fail
 and cause transmission failures.This is the nature of the beast. Always keep this in mind in the event of a failure.Starting from the date of shipment or purchase/pickup all transmissions  have a 1 year warrantee against defects in material and workmanship.In the event of a problem with the purchased part you must obtain an RGA (returned goods authorization number)and return the transmission to us freight pre paid and with a copy of the original receipt of purchase.We will perform an inspection/test to verify a problem exists and either repair or replace it based on our discression.If the transmission is found to be defective because of improper use,misuse,improper assembly or by dirt or debris the customer will be required to pay for the necessary repair or replacement.All returned transmissions will be repaired or replaced and reshipped (freight pre paid by customer)to the original purchaser.There is absolutely no refunds on any transmission.There is a 20% restocking fee on any custom ordered transmissions,and in some cases absolutely no refunds on custom built transmissions that utilize specialized machining and or set ups .There is a 20% restocking fee on any canceled orders or merchandise returned for any reason with the exception of defective merchandise.All returned orders are liable for 100% of the shipping charges incurred regardless of the circumstances. CKPERFORMANCE cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or death,consequential damage,loss of revenue ,or labor costs that are the results of a transmission failure whether it be the result of a product defect,misuse,abuse,or malfunction of another vehicle system.CKPERFORMANCE in no way promotes the use of its competition transmission to be used in speed contests or dangerous driving practices on any local ,state ,or government property or roadway.


VALVE BODY WARRANTEE AND RETURN POLICIES

Starting from the date of purchase,all valve bodies have a 90 day warrantee against defects in material and workmanship.All of our valve bodies are hydraulically and or in car tested to be in 100 percent working order when shipped.In the event of a problem with any valve body assembly you must obtain an RGA (returned goods authorization number)and return the valve body to us freight pre paid with a copy of the original receipt of purchase .We will perform an inspection/test to verify a problem exists and either repair or replace the valve body based on our discression.If the valve body is found to be defective because of improper use,misuse,improper assembly or by dirt or debris the customer will be required to pay for the necessary repair or replacement.There is absolutely no refunds on any valve body assembly purchase.Returns can be used only for credit towards an additional purchase unless CK PERFORMANCE decides otherwise.


COMPETITION AND INTERNAL TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS WARRANTEE AND RETURN POLICIES

There are several "Competition Components" that offer a one year or lifetime warrantee to the original purchaser .The information regarding these extended warranties is clearly stated along with the parts descrition found in this catalog.With the exception of these extended warranty items all other items are subject to the policies outlined in the following text.   Starting from the date of purchase,all "Competition" and "Internal Components"   have a 90 day warrantee against defects in material and workmanship.In the event of a problem with the purchased part you must obtain an RGA (returned goods authorization number)and return the internal component to us freight pre paid and with a copy of the original receipt of purchase.We will perform an inspection/test to verify a problem exists and either repair or replace it based on our discression.If the internal component  is found to be defective because of improper use,misuse,improper assembly or by dirt or debris the customer will be required to pay for the necessary repair or replacement.There is absolutely no refunds on any internal component.There is absolutely no refunds on any custom built torque converters or any custom built merchandise. All returns can be used only for credit towards an additional purchase unless CK PERFORMANCE decides otherwise.


SHIPPING INFORMATION

Any national or international shipments can be arranged and paid for by the customever, however CKPERFORMANCE can not  and will not be held responsible for any type of damage or loss of merchandise after it leaves our facility.We will do our best to get you the lowest possible shipping rates we can.There is no charge for transmission crates ,but a $ 20.00 handling fee if is a special application in which case both paties will discuss options previous to shipment.In the event of loss or damaged merchandise we will fully handle shipping claims with the shipper.Do not accept damaged merchandise from shipper.Contact us immediately in the event a possible damaged product has arrived .All products shipped from our New York location will be subjected to a $5.00 package and handling fee.All packages are shipped via US Postal service,and UPS.
