SUPER COMP DIRECT DRUM WITH 36 ELEMENT SPRAG
4L80ECC/SCDD
This custom drum assembly is fitted with oversize tool steel inner  and outer sprag races, an oversize 36 element sprag assembly, and a custom sprag retaining plate and spiral lock ring. Modified inner race distributes lube oil to the sprag assembly more efficiently. This drum uses factory OEM clutches and steels. This drum has been tested behind engines producing over 2000 horsepower/1800 foot pounds torque.

This package facilitates the installation of the Reid Racing SFI bellhousings to a GM 4L80E transmission. This permits the adaptation of the GM 4L80E to small block, big block, and Gen 3 Hemi Chrysler engines; small block, big block and Modular/Coyote Ford engines; Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Pontiac engines; as well as update the case for Chevrolet applications. Includes precision machined and o-ringed oil pump body, aluminum adapter plate, and mounting hardware. Bellhousing sold separately. Requires 10.5" or smaller diameter torque converter.

TRANSMISSION CASE MACHINED FOR SFI BELLHOUSING ADAPTER PACKAGE

This transmission case is fully machined to accept the CK Performance/Reid Racing adapter plate and S.F.I. bellhousing. Case is supplied bare and ready for assembly. Requires customer core be returned.  A $250.00 core charge will be added to each order and refunded when a good usable transmission case is returned. Please specify early or late model case.
