TH350 Competition Components

Oversize low roller clutch and matching lo support reduce lo roller clutch and outer race failures. A must for heavy duty and transbrake applications that do not use the low clutches in manual 1st gear. The factory metal thrust washer installed between the sun shell and lo roller clutch outer race lacks durability and thrust surface area. This precision ground outer race is outfitted with a roller bearing assembly that replaces the thrust washer. This bearing reduces internal friction and horsepower loss created and consumed during normal internal component rotation. It also increases thrust surface area between rotating components, improving power transmission. Plenty of stock as of 11/2022.

The heat treatment of the OEM intermediate clutch outer race is too hard for the hoop stresses the race encounters in high performance street/strip applications. This results in outer race failure when the hydraulic circuitry has been modified to reduce intermediate clutch slippage. A fully inspected OEM intermediate clutch outer race is treated to a proprietary stress relief process, resulting in a component  suitable for high performance applications. Plenty of stock as of 11/2022.

The installation of this updated pressure regulator spring will raise maximum line pressure to approximately 195 psi, resulting in quicker and firmer shifts and increased torque capacity at all throttle angles.

The revised design allows the installation of one additional clutch and steel plate with four clutch models, increasing the clutch pack count from four to five plates. Furnishes a huge increase in direct clutch torque capacity.

It is a common occurrence for the OEM intermediate one way clutch retaining ring to be ejected from its groove in high performance and competition applications, resulting in parts failures. This high quality heat treated snap ring features a full 360 degrees of engagement ensuring positive ring retention in its groove under extreme duty and high rpm operating conditions. A must on all TH350 build ups.
