4L80E Competition Components

This kit allows the accumulator housing to be deleted correcting the hydraulics and furnishing a super positive 2-3 and 3-4 upshifts and increased torque capacity. Includes block off plate and mounting hardware. This also provides an excellent fix for a worn or damaged  accumulator housing.

This Kolene processed component is a must for extreme duty 4L80E applications. A thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and parallel decked OEM forward clutch pressure plate/direct clutch hub receives a proprietary nitrocarburized case hardening process, increasing its fatigue strength, wear resistance, and lubricity for a major improvement in component performance and durability. Eliminates wear at the splined interface between the direct clutch plates and direct clutch hub.   

The installation of this upgraded pressure regulator spring will raise maximum line pressure to  approximately 195 psi. This raises line pressure 35-40 psi over stock, resulting in firmer shifts and increased transmission torque capacity at all throttle angles.
